Wikipedia se ha convertido en una de las herramientas de divulgación de información más populares hoy en día, pero ¿Hasta qué punto es un elemento objetivo? Con el fin de averiguar esto, analizaremos, desde una perspectiva de género, distintas entradas sobre mitología griega, la cual, en su momento, se convirtió en una herramienta para legitimar estructuras y pensamientos en su sociedad. De esta forma, podremos ver si, por una parte, existían elementos de opresión de género dentro del panteón mitológico griego, y por otra, observar si estos posibles elementos se han mantenido y se siguen reproduciendo mediante Wikipedia o si, al contrario, han ido desapareciendo con el tiempo.
Wikipedia has become one of the most popular tools for disseminating information today, but to what extent is it an objective element? To find out, we will analyse, from a gender perspective, different entries on Greek mythology, which, at its time, became a tool to legitimise structures and thoughts in their society. In this way, we will be able to see whether, on the one hand, elements of gender oppression existed within the Greek mythological pantheon, and on the other hand, to observe whether these possible elements have been maintained and are still reproduced through Wikipedia or whether they have disappeared over time.
