Abstract: Archaeology of conflict is an archaeological subfield which is related to heritage regarding or linked to war, violent situations or any kind of conflicts. Archaeology of conflict has shown an special development in relation to contemporary history. In Spain, archaeology of conflict has focused especially in sites related to Spanish Civil War and Francoist dictatorship, producing museal interventions and studies with educational possibilities which could stress in the teaching and learning of History and the promotion of Peace.
