| Abstract: | Transient dynamics of spatial fluctuations of the director field in the pure twist Fréedericksz transition is studied. A nonlinear calculation is presented. Anomalous transient fluctuations are shown. Different stages of evolution and the domain of validity of linear theories are discussed. |
