[cat] Aquest article estudia la Ketubà trobada a l'Arxiu Episcopal de Vic. La ketubà és el contracte matrimonial fet per testimonis d'acord amb el dret civil jueu. El document detallava les condicions que corresponien al marit (tals com el proporcionar a la dona els aliments, vestit i drets conjugals), així com les condicions econòmiques. Aquest article conté la transcripció i traducció de la ketubà entre R. Samuel i Bella. El marit promet pagar 200 zuzim per la seva virginitat i 200 diners grans, i així mateix promet vetllar perquè sigui mantinguda. L'esposa aporta or,robes i joies amb un valor de 5 morabatins d'or. Una altra ketubà existent a l'arxiu té característiques molt similars.
[eng] This paper is about a ketubah found in the Arxiu Episcopal of Vic (Catalonia). The ketubah is the marriage contract, drawn by witnesses in accordance with Jewish civil law. This document detailed the conditions upon the husband (such as providing his wife with food, clothing and conjugal rights) as well as monetary conditions. This paper contains the transcription and translation of the ketubah between R. Samuel and Bella. The husband promised to pay 200 zuzim for her virginity and 200 diners grans, as well as the promise of seeing that she would be provided for; the wife brought gold, clothes and jewels at a value of 5 gold morabatins. Another ketubah in the Archive features characteristics very similiar to this one.
