Resum
In the last years, the world of education has been strengthened with the latest technology to improve communication and information, making it possible for these materials to reach anyone who may have motivation to learn.
In this technological framework, dedicated to educate users on a particular point or field, we find serious games. Games, which are developed separately from classic games to provide incentive of education or training for the users to use them, in addition to the funny experience of a classic game.
This project starts from another Final Grade Project named “Joc seriós per a l’Ensenyament de Fonaments D’informàtica”, developed by a colleague of this grade, David Gómez Casas.
Specifically, this project is addressed to analysing and improving the usability of a serious game as a result of the previous project, named VirtualPC.
This project is focused on supporting education for the students of the Faculty of “Biblioteconomia i Documentació” at the University of Barcelona, where the director of this project, Inamculada Rodriguez, teaches a course on TIC, this being the course in which the game would be introduced, in the academic
year 2014-2015.
For the development of this project it has also been created a Web Application in order to help the teacher in the subject in which will used to manage the results of their students.
