LGTBI+ en el Servicio Diplomático. Los casos del Reino Unido y España como ejemplo paradigmático

[spa] El presente trabajo de investigación ofrece un análisis y comparativa sobre la inclusión del colectivo LGTBI+ en el Cuerpo Diplomático Español y Británico. Se hace un estudio del estado actual del Servicio Exterior respecto a las medidas y políticas de inclusión de la diversidad, la promoción y protección de los derechos humanos y derechos LGTBI+, la existencia o no de referentes de todas las comunidades del colectivo en el Cuerpo Diplomático y la pluralidad en el servicio público. Se destacan las dificultades que afrontan las personas LGTBI+ al trabajar en el Ministerio Exterior, la poca visibilidad de mujeres lesbianas, bisexuales, y de personas trans* y no-binarias, y una suerte de sugerencias para mejorar la situación en ambos estados. [eng] This essay offers an analysis and comparison of the inclusion of the LGTBI+ collective in the Spanish and British Diplomatic Service. The current state of the Foreign Service’s inclusivity is studied throughout an examination of the measures and policies for the inclusion of diversity, the promotion and protection of human rights and LGTBI + rights, the existence or not of references of all the communities of the collective in the Diplomatic Service and the plurality in the public service. The difficulties that LGTBI+ people face when working in the Foreign Ministry are highlighted, as well as the low visibility of lesbian, bisexual women, trans* and non-binary, and some suggestions to improve the situation in both states. To this end, surveys and interviews have been conducted with active and retired diplomats in order to provide the investigation with real and contemporany experiences.
