Sobre el cel. El cel en l'art contemporani

Abstract

[cat] Dins del marc de referència de la cultura de la contemporaneitat, quan es vol tractar sobre el cel , és necessari un punt de vista nou que derivi del que s'ha anomenant la conquesta espacial. Aquest fet i les noves consideracions sobre les relacions entre el temps i l'espai, ens donen una visió diferent de l'espai i del cel, una visió que condiciona, en l'actualitat, les imatges i les actituds a l'hora de tractar-los, ja sigui des de l'art o des de la ciència. "Sobre el cel" és el títol d'una tesi llegida recentment a la Facultat de Belles Arts de Barcelona. La selecció del tema invita al descobriment d'una sèrie d'obres, dibuixos, pintures, escultures, arquitectures, fotografíes i vídeos, ja comentades per d'altres, per una artista del nostre temps i incita a una apreciació diferent, una confrontació de dues mirades, rescatant antigues mirades des de nous valors.

[eng] TITLE: "ABOUT THE SKY". Within the frame of reference of the contemporary culture, when the main subject of discussion is the sky, it is necessary a new point of wiew that leads to the called space conquest. This fact and the new considerations on the relations between time and space, give a diferent vision of the space and the sky. A vision that, at the present time, conditionates the images and the attitudes to consider them from the art or the science point of view. "About the Sky" (Sobre el Cel) is the title of a thesis, readed recently in the Barcelona's Fine Arts College. The selection of the subject invites the discovery of works series, drawings, paintings, sculptures, architectures and photographies, already commented by other people, for an artist of our time and incites a different appreciation, a confrontation of two glances, rescuing old looks from new values.
