[spa] Este trabajo aborda el arte urbano partiendo de una compresión de su lugar en el arte público, para
después identificar las formas en las que está asumida esta expresión en la ciudad de Barcelona,
que se entiende esencialmente desde dos perspectivas, la de una forma de deslucimiento y
deterioro del paisaje urbano, que implica del artista una producción ilegal sujeta a diferentes tipos
de sanciones, y por otra, la de la expresión del arte urbano como un derecho cultural, que se refleja
en ciertas medidas promovidas por el Ayuntamiento de Barcelona para poder desarrollar estas
expresiones. Desde estas perspectivas y abordando el papel que juega el arte urbano en la ciudad,
se pasa recoger una muestra de las expresiones contemporáneas que se encuentran principalmente
en su centro histórico, Ciudad Vella, para terminar dilucidando un sentido del arte urbano hacia la
construcción de una forma propia de ejecutarlo desde una posición de derivador urbano.
[eng] This work addresses urban art starting from an understanding of its place in public art, to then identify the ways in which this expression is assumed in the city of Barcelona, which is understood essentially from two perspectives, that of a form of tarnishing and deterioration of the urban landscape, which implies an illegal production by the artist subject to different types of sanctions, and on the other, that of the expression of urban art as a cultural right, which is reflected in certain measures promoted by the Barcelona City Council to be able to develop these expressions. From these perspectives and addressing the role that urban art plays in the city, we collect a sample of contemporary expressions that are found mainly in its historic center, Ciudad Vella, to end up elucidating a sense of urban art towards the construction of an own way of executing it from an urban drifter position.
