[spa] Este es un trabajo cuyo protagonismo lo tienen las niñas que en alguna o en varias ocasionesresidieron en la Casa de Misericordia de Barcelona entre los años finales del siglo XVII y losinicios de siglo XVIII. Se trata de un período desconocido en este aspecto y la documentaciónencontrada, la menos abundante de cuanta se halla conservada en su historia, permiteentrecruzar datos que son vitales para conocer algo más sobre los pequeños pero constantestrayectos de aquellas. Algunos de estos datos nos revelan circuitos que definen relacionesfamiliares entre hogares, entre parientes, entre desconocidos, trazados en círculos más o menosestrechos pero sometidos a un constante flujo en cuyo camino aparece y desaparece, interviene,la propia institución asistencial. Trataré de analizar el significado social de estos trayectosteniendo en cuenta las condiciones de la fuente primaria trabajada, sus consignas y suslimitaciones
[eng] This study places at its center the lives of girls who, on one or several occasions, resided in the Casa de Misericordia of Barcelona in the late seventeenth and early eighteenth centuries. This remains a largely unexplored period from this perspective, and the documentation uncovered— among the scarcest preserved in the institution’s history—nevertheless allows for the crossreferencing of data that is crucial for gaining deeper insight into the modest yet constant trajectories of these girls. Some of this evidence reveals circuits that map familial relationships between households, among relatives, and between individuals previously unknown to one another, traced within networks of varying density yet characterised by continuous circulation. Along these paths, the charitable institution itself intermittently appears, recedes, and intervenes. I aim to analyze the social significance of these trajectories while considering the nature of the primary sources employed, their internal logic, and their inherent limitations.
