[cat] Article en el qual es fa un repàs, en el context dels plans d"arqueologia urbana desenvolupats a diversos nuclis urbans de Catalunya i en altres territoris, del Programa de Recerques Arqueològiques de la ciutat de Vic (PRAV), les seves etapes i línies generals, així com l"àrea arqueològica delimitada pel Pla Especial de Protecció i Millora del Centre Històric de Vic. S"acaba fent un balanç i una proposta de futur que, en part, es complí amb l"elaboració del Programa d"Arqueologia Urbana de la ciutat de Vic (PAUV).
[eng] An article that gives a run through, in the context of the urban archaeological plans undertaken in diverse urban centres of Catalonia and other regions, of the Archaeological Research Programme of the city of Vic (PRAV), its stages and general lines of work, as well as the archaeological area marked out by the Special plan for the Protection and Improvement of the Historical Centre of Vic. It ends with an appraisal and proposal for the future which, in part, was achieved with the drawing-up of the Urban Archaeological Programme for Vic (PAUV).
