It has been tested the usefulness of the technique developed by Escalas (2015) for detecting and characterizing anomalies in the magnetoteluric signal. The system is based on the Morlet wavelet, wich allows making a polarization analysis in the time-frequency domain. For doing that, first, it has been made a synthetic signal with a magnetoteluric tensor and then, it has been analysed. Finally, it has been searched anomalies in real data.ca
