[cat] El present article analitza el canvi legislatiu que hi va haver al Regne de Navarra referent al comerç de grans i que va tenir lloc a les Corts de 1817-1818, com una baula del procés de transformació de l'economia de l'antic règim cap al nou sistema del capitalisme burgés. Navarra estava dotada de prerrogatives forals que li permetien dictar les seves pròpies lleis, per la qual cosa el procés de liberalització econòmica en aquest i altres camps va seguir un curs autònom respecte de la resta de la Monarquia. Les idees que van presidir aquest canvi, que s'inscriuen perfectament en els corrents espanyols i europeus del segle XVIII, són el principal objecte d'investigació d'aquest treball.
[eng] This essay examines the changes in legislation on grain trade in the Kingdom of Navarre which took place in the Cortes of 1817-1818, as a stage in the transformation process from the economic model of the Ancíen Régime to liberal capitalism. Navarre had certain privileges that allowed it to promulgare its own legislation; so the economic liberalization processin this and other areas was independent from the rest of the Spanish Monarchy, Our main object of research lies in the ideas which headed these changes, well inserted in, the XVIII century Spanish and European economic thought streams.
