Treballs finals del Màster en Matemàtica Avançada, Facultat de Matemàtiques, Universitat de Barcelona: Any: 2026. Director: Jordi Marzo
This project provides an introduction to potential theory in the complex plane, covering both the classical setting and the framework of external fields. The main focus is the study of discrete energy minimization problems and their relation to the corresponding continuous equilibrium measures. We present the fundamental concepts and results of the theory, and discuss several illustrative examples and applications.
