dc.description.abstractThe focus of this Treball Fi de Grau (TFG) is the study of magnon’s dispersion relation in a thin film of YIG at room temperature when applying an in-plane magnetic field. The magnon dispersion relation was first analyzed in order to better understand the conditions for the BEC: material thickness and applied magnetic field direction and intensity. Secondly, the ferromagnetic resonance was experimentally studied in a thin YIG film with the theoretically analyzed geometry, more specifically the uniform mode (k = 0) and spin-wave resonance.ca
