Falange y la cultura política del fascismo español en la historiografía reciente

[spa] Este artículo examina la historiografía producida en el último cuarto de siglo sobre Falange, destacando el cambio interpretativo desde un enfoque político-institucional hacia perspectivas culturales y sociales. Frente a las lecturas centradas en la estructura política, la doctrinal y el fracaso del proyecto totalitario, buena parte de los estudios recientes han situado el falangismo en el terreno de las culturas políticas, la socialización autoritaria y las prácticas cotidianas del poder. El texto revisa los debates en torno al fascismo español y su inserción en el marco de los fascismos europeos, la relación entre Falange y la dictadura franquista, la fascistización cultural, las formas de consenso autoritario y la importancia de los servicios y secciones del Movimiento. Asimismo, se incorporan aportaciones territoriales y de la prosopografía que han revelado la diversidad de experiencias locales. El artículo concluye señalando que esta evolución ha influido en nuevas líneas de investigación y una ampliación de los marcos de interpretación sobre el falangismo. [eng] This article examines the historiography produced over the last quarter century on Falange, highlighting the interpretive shift from a political-institutional framework toward cultural and social perspectives. Moving beyond readings focused on political structures, doctrine, and the failure of the totalitarian project, much recent scholarship has situated Falangism within the field of political cultures, authoritarian socialization, and the everyday practices of power. The text reviews the debates surrounding Spanish fascism and its place within the broader constellation of European fascisms, as well as the relationship between Falange and the Franco dictatorship, cultural fascistization, forms of authoritarian consensus, and the role of the Movement’s services and sections. It also incorporates territorial approaches and prosopographical studies that have revealed the diversity of local experiences. The article concludes by noting that this historiographical evolution has fostered new lines of research and broadened the analytical frameworks through which Falangism is interpreted.
