Control de qualitat del Guaranà

Abstract

[cat] En aquest treball es fa una revisió del guaranà, una planta coneguda pels seus efectes psicoestimulants, amb l’objectiu d’elaborar una monografia per al control de qualitat de la llavor de guaranà per a la Farmacopea Europea. A partir de la bibliografia s’estableixen les característiques morfoanatòmiques diagnòstiques per a la identificació de la droga vegetal i, a partir de la bibliografia i d’assaigs duts a terme al laboratori, s’estableixen els mètodes cromatogràfics que es proposaran per a la identificació i per a la quantificació del contingut de cafeïna. Finalment, es proposa un text per a la monografia de la llavor de guaranà.

[eng] The aim of this project has been to study the guarana, a plant known for its psychostimulant effects, in order to propose a monograph for the quality control ofguarana seed to the European Pharmacopeia. On the one hand, the diagnostic macroscopic and microscopic characters for the identification of the herbal drug have been established by means of a literature review. On the other hand, the chromatographic methods for theidentification of gaurana seed and the assay for its caffeine content have been established from the literature review and the experimental work carried out in the laboratory. As a result, a text for the monograph of guarana seeds has been proposed.
