[spa] El acoso, en todas sus formas, se nos muestra como una de las más terribles lacras de nuestra sociedad. Desde niños, hasta adultos, de todas las edades, sexos, estratos sociales, origen o condición, padecen su tiránica presen cia; y a veces, sin posibilidad alguna de defensa por soledad, incomprensión, o miedo a las represalias de sus agresores. Lamentablemente, el auge de las nuevas tecnologías no solamente se ha traducido en progreso y evolución en los distintos ámbitos de nuestra vida diaria, sino que también ha traído consigo algunos efectos negativos; especialmente respecto al ciberacoso, donde ha visto ampliado su radio de actuación y el consecuente perjuicio para sus víctimas. Las personas del colectivo LGTBIQ+ se han convertido en uno de los «colectivos diana» de estos ataques; y de ahí la importancia que revisten las recientes reformas legislativas para la protección de sus derechos e intereses. Pero la batalla contra el odio, la violencia y la intolerancia continúa, y quedan aún muchos frentes por conquistar
[eng] Harassment, in all its forms, is seen as one of the most terrible scourges of our society. From children to adults, of all ages, sexes, social strata, origin or condition, all of them can suffer its tyrannical presence; and sometimes, without any possibility of defense due to loneliness, incomprehension, or fear of revenge. Unfortunately, the rise of new technologies doesn’t become only a progress and evolution in the different areas of our daily lives, but also has brought some negative effects; especially about cyberbullying, that have expanded its area of influence and the consequent damage to the victims of harassment. People from the LGTBIQ+ community have become one of the «target groups» of these attacks; hence the importance of recent legislative reforms for the protection of their rights and interests. But the battle against hate, violence and intolerance continues, and there are still many fronts to conquer.
