Hildegart Rodríguez: la mujer que la historia no quiso recordar

Abstract

El presente trabajo final de grado se centra en la figura de Hildegart Rodríguez, una mujer que destacó no solo por su precoz brillantez, sino por su papel activista y feminista dentro de la política en la España de la Segunda República, cuyo asesinato a manos de su madre marcó uno de los episodios más impactantes de la sociedad española del siglo XX. A través de un enfoque feminista interseccional y un análisis histórico-crítico, se estudian las estructuras de poder que rodearon su vida, su construcción como “proyecto ideológico” y el posterior silenciamiento de su figura. El estudio parte de la tensión entre libertad femenina y control social, explorando cómo el silencio que cayó sobre Hildegart revela patrones persistentes de represión simbólica y exclusión del relato histórico. En diálogo con las políticas públicas de memoria, este trabajo propone una lectura crítica de la representación de las mujeres en la historia. Más que una biografía sobre la vida de Hildegart Rodríguez, esta investigación es una pregunta abierta sobre poder, memoria y justicia.

This Final Degree Project focuses on the figure of Hildegart Rodríguez, a woman who stood out not only for her precocious brilliance but also for her feminist and political activism during the Second Spanish Republic. Her assassination at the hands of her mother marked one of the most shocking episodes in twentieth-century Spanish society. Through an intersectional feminist approach and a critical-historical analysis, this study examines the power structures that shaped her life, her construction as an “ideological project,” and the subsequent silencing of her legacy. The research is rooted in the tension between female autonomy and social control, exploring how the silence surrounding Hildegart reveals persistent patterns of symbolic repression and historical exclusion. In dialogue with public memory policies, this work offers a critical reading of the representation of women in history. This is more than a biography. It is the investigation of an open question about power, memory, and justice.
