[spa] Repensar la història del primer liberalisme a Catalunya des d'una perspectiva doble, d'una banda en funció de la tradició constitucional catalana, i de l'altra des d'una vessant Atlàntica. Els liberals catalans se sentiren atrets per les tendències federals europees i americanes que estaven explorant noves vies d'organització del poder polític en els nous règims liberals. L'alternativa federalitzant catalana fou un ele-ment més del debat global sobre la formació de les nacions liberals al món.

Liberals Catalans crush on federal European and American trends that were exploring new ways of organizing political power in the new liberal regimes. The alternative federalised Catalan was one element of the global debate on the formation of liberal nations in the world.
