Solidaritat directa com a eina de transformació social: el cas d’Exarcheia

Abstract

(cat) Des de març del 2015, més de 60.000 persones que fugen de zones en guerra romanen en territori grec davant la impossibilitat de continuar la seua travessia cap a Europa. Els governs europeus han adoptat una política de securitització de les fronteres i han distribuït a totes aquestes persones refugiades en camps militars repartits per tot el país. Davant d’aquesta situació, els moviments socials, tant locals com internacionals, s’han organitzat de manera horitzontal i autònoma per proporcionar allotjament digne en immobles okupats a més d’un miler i mig de persones en el cèntric barri atenenc d’Exarcheia. El present treball neix amb la voluntat d’analitzar la xarxa de solidaritat amb les refugiades que ha sorgit en aquest barri i les seues potencialitats cap a un canvi social real. Mitjançant l’anàlisi de diversos projectes autogestionats integrants de la xarxa, es destacarà la importància de l’acció col·lectiva i col·laborativa tant a l’hora d’abordar la problemàtica de la integració social de les refugiades i les migrants com per combatre els conflictes urbans que el capitalisme global genera.

(eng) Since march of 2015, more than 60,000 people, that flee from the war, remain in greek territory. European governments have adopted a policy of securitization of the borders and have distributed all these refugees in military camps all over the country. In this situation, social movements, both local and international, have been organized horizontally and autonomously to provide dignifying housing in squatted buildings to more than one thousand people in the central athenian neighborhood of Exarcheia. This research is intended to analyze the network of solidarity with the refugees that has emerged in this neighborhood and its potential for a real social change. Through the analysis of some self-organized projects that are part of the network, will stand out the importance of collaborative and collective action both in tackling the problems of the social integration of refugees and migrants as to fight against the urban conflicts that global capitalism creates.
