Abstract
Atropisomeric C-N compounds are integral to numerous molecules of significance in nature, bearing relevance in both biological contexts and fine chemistry. Despite the considerable attention directed towards C-H amination within the scientific community, there is limited exploration surrounding the asymmetric synthesis of such compounds. Following several unsuccessful attempts using chiral carboxylic acids as ligands in C-H amination reactions, this study focuses on the design of easily modifiable chiral cyclopentadienyl ligands to enable enantioselective C-H aminations catalysed by Rh and Ir complexes
