Abstract

In a global era where arise multiple social movements and where we also can find different models of social integration, the social identities of the foreigners are completely determined by their own perception and social position in the new society. Doing so, the collective identities of the immigrants plays an important and determinate role on their own social integration. The approach of this analysis develops from the participation of the foreign citizens in organisations and social entities like the Platform of Affected by the Mortgage and analyses how and in which way these social entities build and generate new communities where the place of origin of its members do not play an important role for their integration.
