[spa] El estudio abordará los procesos de cualificación del espacio público desarrollados en el Barrio
de Bon Pastor en Barcelona. A través de esta experiencia nos centraremos en el valorar el ciclo
de trasformaciones que ha tenido este barrio, estudiar la visión y las estrategias que ha tomado
la administración en su construcción y cómo estos cambios han incidido en la vida urbana y las
dinámicas del barrio. Tal investigación se enmarca en la idea de construcción de ciudades desde
una perspectiva de la producción del espacio público. En particular, nos interesa indagar en como
aquellos sectores más desfavorecidos han logrado una transformación en su paisaje urbano. Es decir,
aquellos barrios ubicados en los límites de la ciudad, muchas veces olvidados por la política pública
como es el caso del Bon Pastor.
[eng] The study will address the qualification processes of the public space developed in the Bon Pastor neighborhood in Barcelona. Through this experience we will focus on assessing the transformation cycle that this neighborhood has had, studying the vision and the strategies that the administration has taken in its construction and how these changes have affected urban life and neighborhood dynamics. Such research is part of the idea of building cities from a perspective of the production of public space. In particular, we are interested in investigating how the most disadvantaged sectors have achieved a transformation in their urban landscape. That is, those neighborhoods located in the city limits, often forgotten by public policy such as Bon Pastor.
