[cat] L'actual Museu Arqueològic de l'Esquerda (Roda de Ter), obert al públic des del 1988, forma part d'un projecte més ampli fonamentat en la investigació arqueològica al jaciment ibèric i medieval de l'Esquerda (Les Masies de Roda-Roda de Ter). Com a Museu de Jaciment, la seva funció és conservar i difondre un ric patrimoni arqueològic que té un historial d'estudi de més de 25 anys, i que en el futur pot fer noves aportacions per al coneixement de la història del poblament ibèric i medieval a Catalunya.
[eng] The present Museu de l'Esquerda de Roda de Ter (Roda de Ter), open to the public since 1988, forms a part of a more extensive project centred around the archaeological research being done at the Iberian and mediaeval site at l'Esquerda (Les Masies de Roda-Roda de Ter). As a site museum, its function is to conserve and make known a rich archaeological heritage that has been studied for more than 25 years and that in the future may well offer new contributions to our knowledge of the history of iberian and mediaeval population patterns in Catalonia.
