Resum
[eng] Cultural heritage preservation can take many forms and approaches, some of which include the involvement of conservation professionals and others occur as a natural action of communities. The following dissertation explores the approach options to take during a conservation restoration project regarding cultural heritage. The project draws inspiration from Taos Pueblo, USA, which serves as a valuable case study and example of community-led preservation efforts that have proven to be effective in safeguarding the tangible and intangible heritage of a specific community. Through an in-depth literary review, the positive and negative aspects of community-led approaches are established, as well as the priorities and needs of these kinds of projects. An intervention proposal is presented, using Taos Pueblo as a base, but adaptable to any community with similar characteristics, to prioritize tangible and intangible heritage, as well as the wellbeing and preservation of the community.
