Abstract
[spa] La teoría del framing es una de las 30 teorías más relevantes de la segunda mitad del pasado siglo, sin embargo, es una teoría relativamente joven que se encuentra en constante evolución. Este trabajo trata de aportar matices que perfeccionen dicha teoría para el análisis de unobtrussive issues de ámbito internacional que no ocupen el interés nacional, puesto que sirviéndonos del conflicto presente en Siria, probaremos que, al contrario de lo apuntado por la literatura existente, en esos casos no es la ideología del medio la que determina el framing. A su vez, este proyecto pretende ser parte de un análisis completo del conflicto sirio en los medios, a modo de primera aproximación descriptiva.
[eng] The framing theory is one of the 30 most relevant theories of the second half of the last century, however, it is a relatively young theory that is constantly evolving. This paper tries to review this theory for the analysis of unobtrusive issues of an international scope that do not affect the national interest. The approach will be made by exploiting the present conflict in Syria. We proved that, contrary to what is pointed out by the existing literature, in those cases it is not the ideology of the media what determines framing. In turn, this project aims to be part, as a first descriptive approach, of a complete analysis of the Syrian conflict in the media.
