Abstract

The fundamentals of Real-time Polymerase Chain Reaction, Automated capillary electrophoresis -Sanger sequencing and Fragment analysis- and "Next-generation" sequencing are reviewed. An overview of applications is presented using our own examples carried out in our facility.
