(cast) Durante el siglo XXI el arte urbano ha sufrido un auge inesperado que le ha llevado a dinámicas que se contraponen directamente con sus características de nacimiento. La profesionalización y la entrada en el mercado de estas obras comportan que el movimiento artístico y callejero se vea en la encrucijada de la entrada en un mercado capitalista que critica y que se den diferentes procesos de apropiación privada cultural y de comercialización de una obra gratuita. A partir de Banksy se pueden ver las dinámicas del arte urbano y se pueden vislumbrar los dos caminos que este toma: El mercado y la calle.
(eng) XXI century has become a time in which Street art is growing unexpectedly and we can see some processes that are in conflict with genuine characteristics of the movement. Professionalization and commodification of this art, forces street art to enter in the same capitalist markets they are criticising, thus creating logics of cultural appropriation and privatization of free art. Banksy can be used, analytically, to see those dynamics and the emergence of the two ways that street art is taking: the market and the street.
