dc.description.abstract[en] Table Tennis is inherently a sport where the ball itself moves extremely fast. In this paper, we present a super-realtime optimization of the work done by Christian Soler’s algorithm for tennis table ball and bounce detection. We also provide a proof-of-concept in the form of a C++/CUDA program that achieves rates of up to 1,000 frames per second processed.ca
