dc.description.abstractThe flexocaloric effect has been studied in a Cu-Al-Ni single crystal by inducing the martensitic phase transition with a three point bending setup. This transition has been monitored with infrared measurements, allowing to obtain maps of the sample surface temperature. These maps are processed by inverting the Fourier equation in order to obtain the evolution of heat sinks and sources associated with interphase front movementca
