Abstract

In this work we present the equations that describe the structure of neutron stars, as well as different models that describe the properties of the neutron star matter, using Skyrme nuclear interactions. From the data obtained in the gravitational waves detected in recent years we determine which models are still valid to describe the neutron star matter and which are not.
