Aplicación para evaluar el grado de caquexia en enfermos de cáncer

Abstract

This project is based on a collaboration with the research group of the Biology Faculty of the University of Barcelona. It aims to develop a tool, called CASCO,that allows to get a score and a ranking of cachexia in cancer patients. Also it will be implemented a smaller version of the tool, called miniCASCO. It will be implemented a interactive and multiplataform form, that will allow to enter all the patient data and get the results through the necessary calculations. The forms will be stored on a database to allow them to be retrieved, displayed or modified once saved. In addition it will be implemented some extra function, like the possibility of view the forms history of a patient, generate evolution graphs or export a form to pdf format. It will be developed an administration area, which will allow to register users on the system, export all the forms for a given user to a Excel document, or view a conversion of CASCO form to a miniCASCO form.
