dc.description.abstractThe object of this work was to improve the experimental procedure of the superconducting transition lab experiment in the “Modern Physics Laboratory” course. A new method of data acquisition has been implemented. In addition, a GPIB connector has been used to communicate the multimeters with a computer, using Python programming, allowing the direct computerized registering of data, instead of manual acquisition. A GUI application has been created in order to ease the control of the experiment and the performance of the student. New measurements have been made and a new method for data analysis is proposed. A comparison with the results obtained with the old acquisition setting is presented, showing an actual improvement of the experimentca
