José Martí y el romanticismo español

Abstract

[spa] En este trabajo, analizamos algunos de los comentarios de José Martí sobre el romanticismo español y sus autores. Nos adentramos en su biografía para analizar el contacto que el cubano ha tenido con España y con sus ciudadanos. Veremos cómo se ha formado el pensamiento filosófico del autor y el modo en que este se ve reflejado en sus críticas. También nos adentraremos en el modelo literario que defiende, basándonos en algunos estudios que se han realizado sobre sus obras. Tendremos en cuenta algunos de los textos en los que el autor declara sus ideas revolucionarias y veremos cómo la lucha por el progreso ocupará parte de sus críticas. Nos adentramos en dos de sus artículos, el primero sobre los poetas españoles y, el segundo sobre los dramaturgos del panorama madrileño de sus años en España.

[eng] In this work, we analyze some of José Martí's comments of Spanish romanticism and its authors. We go into his biography to analyze the contact that the Cuban has had with Spain and with its citizens. We will see how the author's philosophical thinking has been formed and how this is reflected in his criticism. We will also delve into the literary model that he defends, based on some studies that have been carried out on his works. We will take into account some of the texts in which the author declares his revolutionary ideas and we will see how the fight for progress will occupy part of his criticisms. We delve into two of his articles, the first on Spanish poets and the second on playwrights from the Madrid scene of his years in Spain.
