Abstract
Mitochondrial toxicity related to intrauterine exposure to maternal HIV and combined antiretroviral treatment (cART) may have an impact on the heart of the uninfected offspring. The objective of the study was to evaluate fetal cardiovascular and mitochondrial biomarkers in HIV pregnancies.
