(cast) El presente trabajo tiene como punto de partida las reacciones del Estado Español ante la
demanda de autodeterminación de Catalunya, concretamente entorno a la jornada de
referéndum del 1 de octubre. Partiendo del supuesto de que la Transición en el Estado Español
no supuso una ruptura suficiente con el régimen franquista que permitiera así la construcción
de una democracia madura, este artículo pretendía acercarse a conocer qué actuaciones,
prácticas y discursos políticos, desarrolladas por el Estado Español entorno los hechos del 1 de
octubre, pueden relacionarse con el substrato organizativo, cultural y simbólico del régimen
franquista. La conclusión general es que es un error considerar al Estado Español actual como
fascista o franquista, pero que sigue existiendo una grieta franquista que se ha visto acentuada
alrededor del 1 de octubre de 2017.
(eng) The present work is based on the reactions of the Spanish State to the demand for selfdetermination of Catalonia, specifically around the day of referendum on October 1. Starting from the assumption that the Transition in the Spanish State did not suppose a sufficient rupture with the pro-Franco regime that allowed the construction of a mature democracy, this article tried to get closer to know what actions, practices and political speeches, developed by the Spanish State The events of October 1 can be related to the organizational, cultural and symbolic substratum of the Franco regime. The general conclusion is that it is a mistake to consider the current Spanish state as fascist or Francoist, but that there is still a Francoist crack that has been accentuated around October 1, 2017.
