Las relaciones sino-latinoamericanas, 1960-1978. Un estudio a partir de la prensa oficial People´s Daily

[spa] El objetivo de este trabajo es dilucidar las características de las relaciones sino-latinoamericanas en el periodo 1960-1978 a partir del análisis del diario oficial del Partido Comunista Chino, el People´s Daily. Interesa estudiar el discurso difundido a través de la publicación con vistas a averiguar los intereses de la República Popular China en América Latina. A partir de las noticias publicadas en el periódico a lo largo del periodo sobre la región latinoamericana y sus diversos países se observará la mayor o menor importancia concedida al establecimiento y mantenimiento de las relaciones diplomáticas de la RPC con AL que tindrán una inflexión significativa en 1969. El análisis nos permitirá constatar los intereses prioritarios de la primera en América Latina a lo largo del periodo atendiendo a las coyunturas internacionales y nacionales; prioridades que serán tanto la defensa de la soberanía nacional china y la reivindicación de su protagonismo en el ámbito internacional como el desarrollo de la economía nacional, dirigida por el Estado, en un marco internacional que llevará a China a solidarizarse con los intentos latinoamericanos por fórmulas de organización supranacional como vía para escapar de la hegemonía de Estados Unidos o de la Unión Soviètica.

[eng] The objective of this paper is to elucidate the characteristics of Sino-Latin American relations during the period 1960-1978 with the analysis of the official newspaper of the Chinese Communist Party, the People's Daily. It is interesting to study the discourse spread through the publication to find out the interests of the People's Republic of China in Latin America. From the news published in the newspaper throughout the period on the Latin American region and its various countries, the greater or lesser importance attached to the establishment and maintenance of the diplomatic relations of the PRC with LA will be observed, with a significant point of inflection in 1970. The analysis will allow us to verify the priority interests of China in Latin America throughout the period, taking into account international and national situations; priorities that will be both the defense of Latin American national sovereignty and the vindication of its leading role in the international arena and the development of the national economy, led by the State, in an international framework that will lead China to solidarity with Latin American attempts at formulas of supranational organization as a way to escape the hegemony of the United States or the Soviet Union.
