[cat] Les excavacions realitzades entre 1987 i 1989 al solar de la casa Genís, al davant del temple romà, van proporcionar una seqüència estratigràfica de més de quatre metres de profunditat que va aportar dades noves sobre la cronologia i l"evolució d"aquest punt de la ciutat de Vic, entre les quals destaquen estructures d"època romana, molt probablement d"època altimperial. Pel que fa a l"evolució posterior, es detectà un canvi d"ús i funcionalitat al llarg dels segles. [eng] The excavations undertaken between 1987 and 1989 on the site of Casa Genís, in front of the Roman temple, provided a stratigraphic sequence of more than four metres in depth that supplied new data about the chronology and evolution of this point in the city of Vic, among which feature structures from the Roman period, most probably the high empire period. As regards the later evolution, a change was detected in the use and functionality over the centuries.
