Abstract
[eng] Andrea Rubino, a Neapolitan priest who graduated in civil and canonical law, left behind a still un- published chronicle, which describes in detail the most important festivals celebrated in Naples from 1648 to 1669. Rubino helps us understand the context of these events and how they originated and developed. He also describes the ceremonial forms, the ephemeral decorations, and the texts read or sung during the festivals.
