Abstract
[cat] L’àmbit en el que gira la investigació d’aquest treball és la preservació documental del patrimoni cultural a través de la tecnologia digital. Com a principal eina d’estudi, s’utilitza el làser escàner terrestre, un instrument de mesura que permet registrar les característiques geomètriques de tot tipus d’objectes i obtenir, d’aquesta manera, una elevada densitat d’informació amb una alta precisió i exactitud.
El plantejament global del treball pretén apropar aquesta innovadora tecnologia a l’àmbit de la conservació i restauració de béns culturals, amb l’objectiu de fomentar-ne el seu ús i desenvolupament. L’experiència se centra en l’aplicació del model de làser escàner Leica ScanStation P50 sobre un cas pràctic, les restes arqueològiques del Pla de Santa Bàrbara de Montblanc, amb l’objectiu de crear d’aquest espai un testimoni digital fidedigne a la realitat per ajudar a la seva preservació futura.
[eng] During the course of this project, we investigated the curation of the cultural heritage by means of digital technologies. The main tool proposed throughout this project is the use of terrestrial laser scanning. This tool allows to capture the geometric characteristics of any object, and in doing so, obtain a large amount of information of such object with an extreme resolution. The goal of this project is to show the merits of this innovative technology within the scope of the conservation and the restoration of cultural and heritage assets, and therefore, encourage its use and development within the field of curation. We apply the described model using a Leica ScanStation P50 pulsed laser scanner on the archaeological remains of “el Pla de Santa Barbara de MontBlanc”. With this, we create a digital trustworthy recreation of the remains that will help its future preservation.
