Abstract
[eng] We present an unpublished fragment of an inscription recovered during the excavation of the Can Modolell sanctuary located in the territory of the municipium Iluro (Mataró, Spain). The fragment was repurposed as building material in a farmhouse built on the site of the sanctuary in the 5th century CE. Although challenges in reading and the stratigraphic context complicate its interpretation, the text provides information about a member of one of the elite families in the territory of Iluro during the first half of the 1st century CE, allowing us to analyse their initiatives and strategies of social power and self-representation.
