(cat) Aquesta recerca té com objectiu estudiar les polítiques nacionalsocialistes i els canvis que
aquestes van provocar sobre el nivell de vida dels alemanys durant la preparació de la guerra
(1933-1939).
Per aconseguir aquest objectiu, primer es descriuran les polítiques en tres àrees: el mercat
de treball, el de capitals i les decisions macroeconòmiques. Finalment s’analitzarà com totes
aquestes van afectar la distribució de la renda, el consum i els nivells de vida. A partir d’aquest
treball es conclou que les polítiques econòmiques nazis van ser ineficients i van comportar
l’augment de la desigualtat a més de la caiguda del consum i de la qualitat de vida.
(eng) The aim of this paper is analyze the Nazis’ economic policies and how they affected the living standards while the country prepared for WW2 (1933-1939). To achieve that, we begin by describing the policies in three areas: labor market, capital market and the macroeconomic policymaking. After that, we focus on how this decisions affected income distribution, consumption and living standards. From this research we conclude Nazis’ policies were inefficient and also lead to the rise of income inequality, the fall of consumption and lower living standards.
