L'ensenyament de l'arqueologia a la Universitat

Abstract

In this article, a survey is carried out into different aspects of teaching Prehistory, Archaeology and Ancient History at Barcelona University, from the development of these studies when Professor Joan Maluquer de Motes entered the De- partment unti1 nowadays, when we are going to start a new Studies Plan. Critica1 references are made about the organi- zation of theaching and research activities of the Departments. Special attention is paid to the problems concerning the present studies plan showing up some defects that explain the unsatisfactory formation of our students. Finally there are some brief considerations about the third cycle (PhD) and the negative perspectives of the forthcoming Studies Plan.
