Tadeusz Borowski, testimoni de l’horror dels camps de concentració i extermini nazis

[cat] El poeta polonès Tadeusz Borowski va ser un dels primers supervivents dels camps de concentració i d’extermini nazis en fer públic el seu testimoni de l’horror en una obra dura i, alhora, cínica on evidencia la crueltat de l’Holocaust. Denuncia una obvietat molt incòmoda, que la supervivència d’un significa la mort d’altres. En forma de breus relats, l’autor i el protagonista descriuen pinzellades anecdòtiques de la realitat als camps. Una estada superior a l’any i la seva inclusió en diferents kommandos i en diferents camps més la seva habilitat literària permeten que l’experiència individual cobri forma d’experiència col·lectiva. No obstant evocar la ignonímia de les cambres de gas, va ser amb el gas de la seva cuina com va decidir posar fi a la seva vida, a l’edat de 29 anys.

[eng] The Polish poet Tadeusz Borowski was one of the first survivors from/of the Nazi concentration and extermination camps to make public his testimony of horror in a hard and cynical literary work on the evidence of the cruelty of the Holocaust. He denounces a very uncomfortable obviousness, that the survival of one means the death of anothers. Through short stories, the author and the protagonist describe some anecdotes of the reality in the camps. A stay longer than a year and his inclusion in different commands and in different camps plus his literary hability allow individual experience to take the form of collective experience. Nevertheless, evoking the ignominy of the gas chambers, it was with the gas of his kitchen that he decided to end his life, at the age of 29.
