Abstract
[eng] Archaeological fieldwork at l'Esquerda began in 1977 and is still in progress at the present day. A large amount of greyware pottery sherds has been discovered during more than 40 years. When thoroughly analysed, these vessels provide significant information to explore technical and functional adaptation, as well as the existence of several production centres supplying the site in the medieval period. This paper introduces a detailed analysis of pottery materials dug out between 1977 and 2013 in their context. Detailed typological classification by means of morphometric examination allows us to interpret data regarding technical adequacy and potential provenance. This will enable us to define new research hypotheses and to sample more precisely for further research.
