[spa] Actualmente las ciudades tienen un rol activo en la adaptación al cambio climático, mitigación de sus efectos adversos. Las ciudades tienen una gran capacidad para crear una sociedad más sostenible y eficiente. No obstante, un cambio urbano para la sostenibilidad no debe sacrificar su área industrial. Las ciudades necesitan industrias para el crecimiento económico, independencia y soberanía. En caso de Barcelona y los polígonos industriales del eje Bèsos, su valor no es solamente económico: la industria históricamente se ha convertido en un rasgo principal de este territorio y en una base de la identidad local. En este trabajo estudiamos posibilidades de creación de una comunidad energética industrial en los polígonos del Besòs para promover, con las herramientas del diseño urbano, un paso hacia la industria más sostenible y eficiente.
[eng] Nowadays cities have an active role in the adaptation to the climate change and mitigation of its adverse effects. Cities have a great capacity of creating a more sustainable and efficient society. Nevertheless, an urban change for sustainability cannot sacrifice the industrial sphere. Cities need industries in order to grow economically and maintain their independence. In the case of Barcelona, the value of its industrial polygons in the area of Besòs is more than merely economic. Industries have historically become a major feature of the territory and a basement for the local identity. In present research we analyze the possibilities of a creation of an industrial energy community in the polygons od Besòs in order to make a step towards the more sustainable and efficient industry by using urban design tools.
