Abstract
(cat) Aquesta recerca pretén analitzar l’impacte que tenen les organitzacions no governamentals en la millora de les condicions de vida dels infants que es troben en una situació de pobresa. Per analitzar aquest impacte, s’ha adoptat l’enfocament de les capacitats humanes per veure com donen resposta a aquesta problemàtica. Per dur a terme aquesta tasca s’ha realitzat una recerca bibliogràfica sobre els efectes que té la pobresa en la qualitat de vida dels infants i s’ha contrastat, a través d’entrevistes a les entitats, si dins dels seus programes inclouen mesures per pal·liar aquests efectes. Les organitzacions no governamentals tenen un paper de suport dins de la xarxa d’entitats que donen respostes a la pobresa infantil i el que pretenen és potenciar les habilitats i capacitats dels infants i de les seves famílies perquè puguin superar la situació d’exclusió social en la que es troben.
(eng) This study aims to analyse the impact that non-governmental organizations have on the improvement in life conditions of disadvantaged children. To analyse this impact, the topic is approached from the perspective of human capacities. This way, one can see their response to this issue. In order to perform this task, a bibliographic research on the effects of poverty is carried out. In addition to that, through interviews to the entities, one intends to determine whether their programs include measures which help diminish these effects. Non-governmental organizations play a key role within the net of entities which respond to child poverty. Moreover, non-governmental organizations intend to improve the abilities and skills of the children and families affected so that they are able to overcome the situation of social exclusion in which they find themselves.
