Abstract

Preservation conditions and elution time of blood samples dried on filter papar, for serological diagno­sis of canine leishmaniosis by means of Dot-ELISA.are studied. Titres do not change when blood has been stored from - 20·to 25·ºC for six weeks. After this period titres decrease when the temperatura rises. Elution time of samples stored at - 20·ºC should be increased, according to the period of time after collection,to obtain comparable results.
