[cat] La vil·la del Romeral és un establiment amb una complexa seqüència d'ocupació al llarg de l'època imperial. La primera fase correspon a un edifici de característiques poc definides que es basteix a inicis del segle i dC. Aquesta construcció és substituïda per un gran edifici, amb funció residencial i dotat de balneum, que sembla haver estat en ús durant els segles i-iii dC. Cap a finals del segle iv es duu a terme una reconstrucció monumental que utilitza noves formes arquitectòniques i decoratives; però aquest nou edifici és abandonat abans de completar la reforma. Algunes evidències indiquen una reocupació parcial del lloc durant l'Antiguitat tardana.
[eng] The Roman villa of Romeral offers a rather complex sequence of occupation throughout the Roman Imperial period. The initial phase corresponds to a poorly defined construction dated to the 1st century AD. This construction was then substituted by a large residential area equipped with a balneum, which appears to date between the 1st and 3rd centuries AD. An important reconstruction took place approximately in mid-4th century AD drawing on new architectural and decorative features. However, this building seems to be abandoned soon after. Certain evidence suggests a partial reoccupation during Late Antiquity.
