De l’adrogueria Vilaclara als laboratoris Uriach, més de 100 anys d’història farmacèutica

Abstract

[ca]Com a sisena generació que forma part d'un laboratori farmacèutic català com el que és Uriach i havent estudiat la carrera de farmàcia, ha semblat interessant dedicar aquest Treball Final de Grau a fer un estudi sobre la transformació que ha sofert aquesta empresa familiar, la qual remunta els seus inicis en una adrogueria, al Passeig del Born de Barcelona i que amb el temps es va convertir en els Laboratoris Uriach, sent tot un referent per a la Indústria farmacèutica del nostre país. De fet, Uriach es considera el laboratori farmacèutic més antic d’Espanya i el segon d’Europa. El treball s’ha estructurat segons la normativa establerta indicant els inicis dels laboratoris Uriach, com comença a especialitzar-se la petita adrogueria gràcies a la unió amb el farmacèutic Alomar i seguidament la creació de la societat J.Uriach&Cia, amb la comercialització de productes estrangers amb llicència. Dels resultats i discussió s’han extret les conclusions pertinents des d’una perspectiva comparativa i cronològica.

[en]As a member of the sixth generation of my family, who run the Catalan pharmaceutical laboratory Uriach, and as a student of pharmacy degree, I found interesting to devote this final project to the study of the transformation of the family’s business, since its very beginning as a neighborhood drugstore located on the street Borne in Barcelona until the current laboratory, being a model to the pharmaceutical industry of our country. In fact, Uriach is considered as the oldest Spanish pharmaceutical laboratory and the second in Europe. The project has been divided according to the established regulation showing the beginning of the laboratory, how it begins to specialize thanks to the Alomar pharmacist, the creation of J. Uriach&, how it starts to commercialize foreign products under license. Of the results and discussion, they have been extracted the conclusions.
